Setup

  • After approval for an Actions Center Appointments Redirect integration, you gain access to the Partner Portal for managing your integration, with specific onboarding tasks found there.

  • Creating an SSH public/private key pair is a necessary initial step, and you must keep track of your public key as it's required later.

  • You initialize SFTP servers by submitting your public SSH key in the Partner Portal's Onboarding Tasks tab, which then creates sandbox and production environments.

  • You can access the Google-provided SFTP servers using any SFTP client at sftp://partnerupload.google.com on port 19321 with your private key.

  • Further setup tasks in the Partner Portal include granting user access, configuring brands, and enabling/disabling features.

After you are approved for an Actions Center Appointments Redirect integration, you will gain access to Partner Portal to help you manage your integration. To learn more about Partner Portal, please reference here.

Create a SSH public / private key pair

To create a SSH public / private key pair, follow the instructions in the SSH Setup documentation.

Initialize the SFTP servers

Once you sign in to the Partner Portal, perform the following steps:

  1. Browse to the Onboarding Tasks tab.
  2. Enter your public SSH key.
  3. Click Submit.

This creates a set of SFTP servers for both sandbox and production environments for you to use. You can find the SFTP server usernames in the Feed page (documentation) within the Partner Portal.

Next steps

At this point, you can use the Partner Portal. You can optionally perform the following setup tasks:

  1. Within the Account and Users page, grant additional users in your organization access to the Partner Portal.
  2. Within the Brands page, configure the default Brand and set up new Brands in your Sandbox and Production environments.
  3. Depending on your integration, within the Features page, enable or disable additional features. These configurations are environment specific.
  4. Follow your Onboarding Plan to continue your integration, starting with Feeds.
