Page Summary
-
The
distance_viewresource in the Google Ads API provides metrics based on a user's distance from advertiser location extensions, aggregated into DistanceBuckets. -
While you can select
customerfields withdistance_view, they won't segment metrics, butcampaignfields will. -
When querying
distance_view, a variety of resource fields, segments (like ad network type, device, and date), and metrics (such as impressions, clicks, and conversions) are available.
A distance view with metrics aggregated by the user's distance from an advertiser's location extensions. Each DistanceBucket includes all impressions that fall within its distance and a single impression will contribute to the metrics for all DistanceBuckets that include the user's distance.
